River

The notable river of Sujanagar Upazila, the Padma Atrai, flows south and east of the two upazilas. A paddy dam has been constructed by the Water Development Board on the banks of the river Padma. Padma river flows along Satbariya, Manikhat, Nazirganj and Sagarkandi Union. The Atrai river flows along the Ahmedpur Union of the upazila. There is no other river or river in the upazila.
